Mini MozArts Full Year Registered Preschool Classes 
For Ages 3-5 Years Old

Mini MozArts is a fun interactive program thoughtfully created with your little artsy, musician in mind!! We are a home based, fully certified preschool located in West Edmonton, 186 street and 68 avenue. 

Mini MozArts Mission
To create an inclusive, nurturing environment for every child that enters through the doors where they can feel safe and encouraged to explore their personal strengths through the use of music, creativity and imaginative play

Each class will include typical preschool curriculum integrated with 30 minutes of music where we work on note names, note values, incorporate the use of rhythm instruments and explore movement with music as well as art and sensory play where we focus on the fine motor skills that will prepare them for kindergarten in a fun child centered approach to learning. Time is set aside daily for free and imaginative play.
Weather permitting we will be ending our days outdoors for gross motor and physical play and to embrace the opportunities that nature presents to us for creative, imaginative play.

Please fill out preschool registration request form below. Once I have received your registration form I will contact you in regards to the registration fee of $150.00 (September's fees)
Registration fee will go toward your first month's fees, it is NON REFUNDABLE as of June 1 2024.  
You are not considered registered until the registration fee is paid.

Policies + Fees



3-5 Year Old Program - Monday and Wednesdays Mornings 
Child must be 3 years of age and must be toilet trained by the beginning of the teaching year.
The 2024/25 teaching year will begin Monday Sept 9 2024 and end Wednesday June 11 2025.
Classes run Monday and Wednesdays from 9:00am - 11:30am and follow the Edmonton Public School Calendar (most) Instructional days off

In music for this program the students will be singing, learning note values, rhythms, music terms. Children will also participate in the Christmas and year end concert.

We focus on PROCESS art rather than product art so your child has no limit to their creative process and can feel confident in their own creative ability.

Fees:
Monthly fees of $150.00 can be paid via cheque or etransfer no later than the 15th of each month. If fees are not paid by the 15th the child will not be able to continue classes until the fees are reconciled. Mini MozArts is a small specialty program and we are NOT set up for the government subsidy. 

In The School/What To Bring:

Drop off will be from 8:50-9:00am & pick up will be 11:30-11:40am

Children will be asked to wash their hands before beginning their school day and before and after snack as well

Please send your child with a simple healthy snack to eat during snack time and a water bottle NO JUICE BOXES. The children will not be permitted to share their snacks during snack time. If you want to send a snack to share for a special occasion like a birthday please let me know ahead of time in case we have allergy concerns in the class. 

Please send your child with proper outside clothing as we will be ending every day outside if it is warmer than -15 degrees Celsius. Also keep in mind that each class day will have an art component so please ensure they are dressed appropriately in clothing that they can get dirty. They will have a Mini MozArts art shirt that will be kept at the school for to protect their clothing as best we can.

The preschool and preschool items will be sanitized through out the day as needed and thoroughly at the end of each day with effective safe NON TOXIC cleaners.

There will be no mandatory parent volunteer days however I like to maintain an open door policy as much as I can so if you would like to sit in on a class day please let me know, you are more than welcome.

Illness Guidelines
Parents, guardians and children must not attend the program if they are sick until the symptoms subside. Unfortunately no refunds can be made in the case of illness, however if I am unable to teach for any reason due to illness a make-up class will be offered for a day/time that is best for majority. If a make-up class can not be scheduled for any reason refund will be given for the missed classes.
